Flow State No. 2 was born on the bike, through carefully examining myself as I rode through nature. I learned what flow feels like from the inside: no center, no one standing in the middle directing things, everything participating, fluid, and in motion. White where the thinking used to be, pink where the joy spikes through. The painting now returns to the bike, moving through the same air that inspired it.
