I'm Kristen, an abstract painter in Bend, Oregon.

Everything here comes from one practice: paying attention until something alive shows up. Some days that happens on a trail in the high desert, moving fast through juniper and dust. Some days it's in the studio, where organic forms gather and layer until they find their own balance. Some nights it's at the edge of sleep, in the deep stillness of yoga nidra, where images arrive on their own. This is my world. Two ways in:
