Your visual language already exists. It lives in the marks you make without thinking, the shapes you return to, the colors that satisfy you and the ones that don't. Inside you’ll find three practices: one for working from what appears, one for developing images from memory and imagination, and one for entering into dialogue with what you've made.

Guided Art Practices

Abstract Painting, Demystified

A guided practice following five master painters into a way of working that's entirely yours.

$17.00
One time

If abstract painting has ever moved you and left you wondering how anyone gets there, this is a way in. You'll spend time with Wassily Kandinsky, Mark Rothko, Agnes Martin, Hilma af Klint, and Sonia Delaunay, five painters who each built a visual language of their own. Each session pairs art history with a guided practice drawn from that painter's way of working. A sixth session brings it all together, so you can see what's becoming your own.

✓ 6 audio lessons including a final integration session
✓ Guided practice in every lesson
✓ No art experience required
✓ Sessions you can return to again and again
✓ Lifetime access
