Interwoven grew from my Flow State series and then outgrew it, asking different questions about love, relationship, and my place within the whole. I’ve come to know this painting as an ode to long love, which is different from the early intensity when love is distinct and charged. This painting is about what forms after years of returning. Held, but not held still.
